- To drastically reduce your exposure to pesticides, fertilisers, additives, GMOs, synthetic chemicals PLUS reducing your risk of health related issues like allergic reactions, rashes, headaches, asthma, behavioural issues in children, hormone disruption, cancer & other health issues.
- To safeguard the integrity of your food and products. Certified Organic provides a guarantee that the product has been grown, handled, packaged and distributed avoiding the risk of contamination of the product to the point of sale. Full traceability is maintained along the entire chain.

- To encourage change. Currently there are NO regulations when it comes to the labelling of skin care and personal care products. Certified Organic standards are internationally recognised and are enforced by annual audits of all certified operators by independent third party auditors.
- To reduce CO2 emissions. Organic farming captures CO2 back in to the soil. A 23 year research project showed that if 1000 medium sized farms converted to organic production, the carbon stored would be the equivalent of taking 117,400 cars of the road each year. (The Rodale Institute 2003)
- To ensure the humane treatment of animals. Organic livestock are grown in a way that conforms to natural processes of growth and development.
