We are proud that the miessence® product range bears the seal of approval by Australia's leading organic certifiers, Australian Certified Organic (ACO) and the Biological Farmers of Australia (BFA).
They set and maintain stringent quality standards that either comply with or exceed international requirements. In addition, select products in the range are also certified by the USDA (United States), IFOAM (European and International).

Note: To obtain organic certification for a product, a minimum of 95% of all ingredients of agricultural origin must be certified organic. The remaining 5% of ingredients (such as pure minerals) are also bound by strict guidelines and may not contain synthetic chemicals or artificially processed elements.

Get to know Brad Bowden
Since 2002 he has lived in Sydney Australia and has been undergoing a transformation, actively working on becoming the person that he always wanted to be - not the person he had become. Brad is achieving this through life coaching, reading and spiritual studies, slowly but surely creating the life that he always desired but was uncertain how to get.
In a long term relationship, Brad and his partner own a wonderful small farm in rural New South Wales called 13 Moons to where they hope to move by the end of 2010. (The image at the top of this page was photographed one misty morning at 13 Moons.) There they want to continue the organic and natural dream by nurturing and working with the land, to grow their own produce and products to sell at farmers markets.
Brad loves dogs, especially the mini schnauzer breed, and his female salt-and-pepper mini named Dusty brings much joy, love and laughter to all that meet her.
Brad has always been interested and passionate about health and wellbeing from a young age as an athletic runner, conscious of what he ate and put on his body. Keeping fit is still high on the priorities list today, enjoying running, yoga and pilates.
From his teenage years Brad used to buy his deodorant and toothpaste from the health food shop, thinking they were toxin free. But in 2007 he became aware of the miessence® certified organic range. He spent 6 weeks sampling and researching the products before signing up as a miessence® independent representative.
Through his online business Shine Organics, Brad's goal is:
To create an environment where I bring happiness to others through a change in their consciousness; whilst bringing a balanced organic awareness that enables others to experience a healthy lifestyle and spiritual harmony, with themselves and the planet.
